Sliding Scale: $500 to $1500

As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I will provide breast/chestfeeding education, tips, advice and support to nursing families, whether they are just beginning or nearing the end of their nursing journey. Medical referrals when necessary.

Rates: $45 for 2 hours of private, individualized breast/chestfeeding education, before or after baby arrives. Also available remotely, by Zoom.

$60 for 2 hours of private, individualized breast/chestfeeding education, before or after baby arrives, with 3 half-hour phone or Zoom check-ins.

Personalized Weaning Plan

I will provide education about weaning: what to expect and different approaches. We will discuss reasons for weaning, goals surrounding the process of weaning, and desired timeline to complete the nursing journey (whether a few days or a few years), paying attention to the important emotional aspect of this transition. We will discuss ways to celebrate this passage! Using this information, I will make suggestions about how families can try to meet their goals and find closure in a way that meets everyone’s needs.

Rate: $100 for 2 hours of in-person or remote weaning education and counseling, an outlined approach to the weaning process uniquely tailored to the individual dyad, delivered within a week (or sooner, as needed) and followed by three half-hour phone call or Zoom check-ins.

Weaning with Doula Care

I offer help navigating the end of the nursing journey, developing a personalised plan to approach a tender transitional period and offering in-person doula care to provide practical, physical and emotional support, including rituals to give ceremony and closure to the weaning process.

Daily Rate: $45/hr
3-hour minimum visit.

Weekly Rate: $40/hr
8 to 20 hours over the course of one week.
3-hour minimum per session.

Monthly Rate: $35/hr
20 to 50 hours over the course of one month.

My role as a postpartum doula is to support families learning how to be with their new baby. I will provide help with nursing, emotional support, aromatherapy, massage, food prep, light cleaning and organization, childcare education, grocery shopping and basic errands, among other forms of nurturing support. I am happy to discuss how I can be the most useful and supportive for your specific family needs. I will protect the general well being of the nursing dyad and educate the immediate family and support community on how to do the same. For the services I am not able to provide directly, I will offer referrals from a broad network of relevant healthcare and hospitality professionals.

Daily in-home support visits (3-hour minimum) during the immediate postpartum period (the “4th Trimester”) up to the first year postpartum. 30 hours in the first two weeks postpartum is recommended.
